A new trailer for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows has been posted online; we've embedded it below.
Robert Downey Jr. stars as Sherlock Holmes, with Jude Law as Dr. John Watson. In this second film of the series to feature these portrayals, Holmes takes on a new criminal mastermind in the city: Professor Moriarty (played by Jared Harris). When the Crown Prince of Austria is found dead, Scotland Yard's Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan) declares it a suicide. But Holmes deduces that the prince has been the victim of murder — a murder that is only one piece of a larger and much more portentous puzzle, designed by Moriarty.
The film, directed by Guy Ritchie, also stars Stephen Fry as Mycroft Holmes, Noomi Rapace as the Gypsy Sim, and Kelly Reilly as Mary Morstan. It opens in US theaters December 16th, 2011.
