Later this month, the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival is being held in Harrogate. During the festival, the Crime Novel of the Year is awarded, chosen by readers.
The shortlist of 8 titles has been posted to the festival website, and you're invited to vote for your favorite! Voting is open through July 21st. The crime novels to choose from are:
