Book Trends: Reviews of Young Adult and Children Books

Book Trends, a review site for young adult and children books, published several new book reviews this past week. We're presenting here a summary of those in the mystery / suspense category.

Conspiracy 365: January by Gabrielle Lord. 1st book in the Conspiracy 365 series. Recommended for readers aged 12 and up. Lexile measure: 680L to 820L. Reviewed by a 6th grade student who wrote, "This book has a mystery that will keep you reading until the last page. I think the rest of the series will be just as thrilling and mysterious, but go a little deeper into the whole riddle. I would recommend this book to fans of thrilling, mystery filled novels."

January Joker by Ron Roy. 1st book in the Calendar Mysteries. Recommended for readers aged 7 to 9. Reviewed by a 6th grade student who wrote, "January Joker is about the four younger siblings of the A to Z Mystery kids, and they have gotten their first detective case .. which is great for the [reader] that is just starting to tackle chapter books."
