A new trailer has been released by Summit Entertainment for the action thriller Escape Plan (embedded, below). The film's tagline: "The most secure prison ever built. No one breaks out alone."
Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) is the world's foremost authority on structural security. He's analyzed nearly every high security prison. After being framed by persons unknown, all of Breslin's ingenuity and expertise are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he's ever faced: escaping from a high-tech prison facility that's design is based on his own protocols.
We tend to enjoy movies such as this, which — if done well — typically have cleverly devised and intricately plotted schemes integrated into the screenplay. We're not real fans of either Stallone or his co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger, but that won't stop us from seeing it.
Directed by Mikael Håfström from an original screenplay by Miles Chapman and Jason Keller (credited as Arnell Jesko), Escape Plan opens in theaters October 18, 2013.
