Review summary: This is a solidly plotted, multi-faceted mystery with several intersecting storylines. With this entry, the series takes Jane in a new direction: she is now a licensed private investigator, who gets her first experience in being rebuffed by the police, who invariably do not like PIs getting involved in criminal matters. Publisher synopsis: DeAndre Moore came to Minneapolis from St. Louis with a purpose, but things aren't going as he planned.
