We missed reviewing Murder One when it was published last year, but we greatly enjoyed the previous two in the series, calling Wrongful Death "among the best books to be published [in 2009]" and saying that 2010's Bodily Harm "is an exciting thriller populated with crisply drawn characters."

In Murder One, a year after the devastating murder of his wife, attorney David Sloane has returned to Seattle after three months in Mexico.
