In other BBC news, the cast of the upcoming made-for-television adaptation of the 2002 novel The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber has been announced, and includes Romola Garai, Chris O'Dowd, Gillian Anderson, and Richard E. Grant.
Described as an "intimate psychological thriller [that] lifts the lid on the darker side of Victorian London revealing a world seething with vitality, sexuality, ambition and emotion", principal photography has begun on the 4-episode mini-series. No air date was announced.
