Nominees Announced for 2009 Macavity Awards

Mystery Readers International has announced the nominees for the 2009 . Each year the members of MRI vote for their favorite mysteries in several categories, three of which are listed below.

For Best Mystery Novel the nominees are:

For Best First Mystery Novel the nominees are:

For the Sue Feder Memorial Historical Mystery the nominees are:

A Royal Pain by (Berkley Prime Crime)
Stealing Trinity by (Oceanview)
The Whiskey Rebels by (Random House)
Compary of Liars by Karen Maitland (Delacorte)
Nox Dormienda by (Five Star)
