In a press release today, Lifetime Networks unveiled its slate of television programs for the 2009 / 2010 season (and beyond).
Highlights (for mystery and suspense fans) include:
• A one-hour drama series based on T. Jefferson Parker's California crime novel The Fallen (in development with a working title of the same).
• Murder in Suburbia, in development and formatted from the British series Murder in Suburbia that aired in 2004 / 2005.
• Two Lifetime Original Movies based on the mysteries At Risk and The Front by Patricia Cornwell featuring Boston district attorney Monique Lamont (both in pre-production).
• Lifetime Movie Network original movies based on two of Ellen Byerrum's Crime of Fashion mysteries featuring fashion editor Lacey Smithsonian, Killer Hair and Hostile Makeover (both scheduled to air this June).
