Several weeks ago we reported on the upcoming schedule for PBS Masterpiece Mystery!
We've learned that one of the series, Wallander, will air its three episodes a little earlier than the indicated "summer". PBS is now scheduled to air the series featuring Kenneth Branagh as Swedish detective Kurt Wallander on May 10th, 17th, and 31st. The episodes, entitled Sidetracked, Firewall, and One Step Behind, are based on the character created by crime novelist Henning Mankell.
The Wallander Series 1 DVD is already available in the UK and no doubt will be available in the US soon after the PBS broadcasts. The BBC has indicated an interest in ordering a second series of three episodes.
